Pitch Feedback

 

 Overall, I was pleased with the feedback given after my presentation and glad to see that the panellists were on board with the idea. Initially, no of them knew what urban exploring was, which is also another thing I was happy about as part of the documentary is about opening people up to what it involves and why people do it. Therefore, a lot of questions were asked about urbex, which was quite intimidating at first, but it helped me begin constructing a narration which will be played over cinematics of some abandoned buildings. From this presentation, I was able to bring across to the panellists how urbex can be used in a therapeutic way as an escape from reality and entering a different world, due to these buildings being frozen in time. They liked the fact that I was going to be running two narratives at once and the idea of bringing in multiple narrators to briefly tell their stories with urban exploration.
